Oceania 2084 - the orwellian TTRPG
The setting revolves around totalitarianism and authoritarian government in 2084 after ecological collapse has occurred which makes people anxious about their future as well as social order. The player characters are part of a resistance movement against Big Brother, the ruler that is oppressive towards its citizens who have been oppressed for generations before this point where it feels like there's no hope left to be found with regards to living free in society or having autonomy and personal rights which makes them feel trapped under authoritarianism. The game has an asymmetrical conflict between player characters on one side of the battle against Big Brother, creating tension that can only escalate until a resolution is made through strategic usage of resources balanced by risk-reward systems governed with dice rolls for events in gameplay rather than traditional roleplaying resolutions like rolling dices to achieve goals.
