The Green Hack is sort of the opposite: it leaves The Black Hack magic system intact while bringing in a combat system similar to that of Whitehack. The Green Hack replaces the combat system from The Black Hack with one inspired by The White Hack. How is this different from The Black Hack? I love The Black Hack but have found characters to be generally a bit overpowered compared to the level recommendations found in published adventures.
