The main character of the story is "Bare," a man in his midthirties who feels like he has lost touch with reality due to years spent living alone and working for free at an unfulfilling job that pays him only enough money to eat. He decides one day while drunk on liquor, out of boredom or fear, to leave the city where everything happened from before leaving his past behind in a dumpster beside an abandoned apartment he had shared with another man who also lives alone and works for free at unfulfilling jobs that pay him only enough money to eat. Bare is going home after drinking liquor when suddenly something happens, like if the world was trying hard not too long ago it would crash on his back, but now life has returned as an ordinary man. Suddenly he finds himself in a street and at first doesn't understand what's happening or where am I? He looks around to find out that everything is normal only people are going home from work; the world seems like they've stopped working because of something bad happened long ago, but no one knows exactly when it occurred (probably just last week) .
