Before the Spiral Falls is a collaborative role playing game for 2 to 4 players, in which one player takes on multiple roles and plays as different characters. The goal of each character's journey involves fighting against enemies who want possession of something (referred to later). As teammates work together towards achieving their goals, they need certain items like paper, markers etc...To win the game requires gathering these elements along with other equipment from a given example such that it represents how many pieces are required for printing. The final goal is achieved when one player's team helps them recover what was lost by not doing things right in the first place due to wrong decisions made earlier
