Gravemire - A tabletop roleplaying game about horror and survival in a world where creatures from another dimension flood into human settlements that have become isolated bayou communities around 1900 Louisiana after an environmental disaster caused by toxic waste dumping, transforming the water supply with strange magic elements. The player takes on roles of outsiders who arrive at Scarstoine town seeking help or information but quickly realize they are not welcome as most people in towns like this fear and despise them for being a part-time monster hunter researcher looking to study marine life deep below their homes during summers while the rest of society enjoys nice weekends with family. The game features an original mechanical system that balances character relationships, survival horror elements mixed together into unpredictable waters where magic exists along dangerous creatures lurking beneath or even in bodies pulled from nearby bayou canals by people who have lost all hope and seek revenge on those they once considered enemies but now see them as their only chance for escape.
