Orphans! is a game inspired by a long history of children's lit, and especially the works of Edward Gorey, Lemony Snicket, and Trenton Lee Stewart. It's a game about being a kid and not having adults take you seriously, even in the face of obvious villainy. It's a good game for anyone of any age to pick up, and its simple rules mean that even adults should be able to play.
