In Volume 2: Monsters & Treasure (revised), Luke Geariing explores the wealth from an old treasury
in a new way with multiple re-imagined items and artifacts that break tradition twice, such as a
mutant cousin to Little Brown Books found within them - mutants. The treasure tables are
restructured for usability which makes it easy to track down values beyond their constituent
minerals and d20 coins whose value is greater than the sum of its parts. This novel also features
new weapons with folklore attached in addition to armor, potions reimagined from old sources such as
grimoires that hold more ink on paper but have a similar effect; mixed items like staves are
collected along their journey through space and time while 10 different designs can be found upon
the world's surface. The second volume of Volume 2: Monsters & Treasure breaks with tradition twice,
inventing new materials to add value beyond those in which they originated - mutants that could not
exist without prior knowledge but were made possible by this discovery (an element is needed for
something like gold).
