The top politician in the city where everyone wears masks has been assassinated; your characters are visitors from elsewhere who can be trusted to investigate since they were unmasked throughout the event, while others will only believe what their friends have told them about a masked assassination if it is consistent with how all of these people dress. It's recommended that you play this adventure in Brindlewood Bay as per its mystery mechanics or use Fate and write your own Mystery toolkit to include Solvate A Mysteries such the one I wrote for Carved From Brienldweod game, but not affiliated with it either.
