The Bogfolk Cafe is an international cooperative of artists, gamers and creators who strive for fair pay and human-centered approaches in their creative endeavors while supporting small platforms like Kickstarter or We Are Pirates Press. The cafe offers a place to share ideas with other creatives as well as provide support through various means such as live streaming events on Twitch, working together on projects related to neurodivergent individuals' mental health needs (such as helping people navigate the sometimes-unsafe environment that can result from their experiences), hosting fundraisers for artists in need of financial assistance and advocating against systemic inequalities.The cafe's purpose is a reflection of its creators who believe strongly in creating work with kindness, empathy towards others involved and an equal vote system to support small creators like them along the way
