The Watch
The clans were diverse in tradition and outlook before a force known as "the Shadow" appeared. They had been semi-nomadic, with many alliances between their groups; however, the shadow brought an end to these relations by invading clan lands repeatedly. Despite this chaos that ensued due to news of its arrival among them earlier than expected, it was ultimately 'The' Shadow itself who caused divisions within clans in order for survival as they tried hard to escape from The Shadow's army which constantly advanced into their territories on a mission to control the land and people under shadow rule. Ultimately, the need came about that if these communities were not able to remain independent of this destructive force then unity was necessary - an idea embraced by them all in order for survival against shadows everywhere who would do everything possible within reason so as never again suffer such consequences or pain caused through their actions
