Less of a game and more of a short story, "* Despite everything" is an exercise in accepting and forgiving your past self for the things they could not control. It's a twist on the classic "What would you tell yourself five years ago?" through the lens of a queer, neurodivergent adolescence. Content Warnings: Reflection on past suicidal ideation and depression. Written & designed in forty-five minutes, after midnight. Forgive the messiness. "* Despite everything, it's still you." takes its title from Toby Fox's Undertale. If you somehow didn't know that, go play Undertale. It's fucking incredible and you're missing out if you've missed it for this long.
