Dungeon 81 was created as an alternative to the original Dungeons & Dragons 1e published by Wizards of the Coast (WotR), which has been subject to copyright infringement lawsuits and ongoing legal battles against fans who have attempted unauthorized modifications, hacks or remixes using homebrew materials. The new game uses rules-light elements inspired from games such B/X, BEsM, Into the Odd, DUrfF, Maze Rats, and Pinkhack created by its creator Dungeon81 is a Work In Progress (WIP) which means that it may not be fully functional or balanced yet but constructive feedback will help improve this adventure game.
