The story of the people in Last Pine who have been reporting petty crimes, such as missing items from businesses or scattered refuse food and medicine after burglaries, has led to a town-wide search for clues that may lead investigators towards suspects including Ricky Burning at the hardware store. However, this is not just about solving crime but also dealing with supernatural elements in which objects are floating ghostly shapes while shadows themselves cause feelings of dread within individuals like protagonist Jezal Boon who works as an employee at a lumberyard and has his own unsettling experiences beyond that point where he sees 'floating' items. * The hunt is set for 6 segments, with two-sided pdfs available to print in trifold pamphlet format using original black & white illustrations made by the player themselves if they have access or use an external printer (home or otherwise).*
