Anomalous Investigation is a horror game set within The Federal Bureau of Anomaly Control (FBAC), where players play investigators who work to contain dangerous paranormal events in the world's most unique anomalies like SCP Foundation objects or rare creatures discovered by government agents working alongside them. It uses Panic Engine and inspired from media such as X-Files, Delta Green series, Laundry Files among others with additional rules for creating custom classes/altering abilities, equipment management along with supernatural powers to operate within the FBAC's structure in which they work closely together towards preventing paranormal occurrences causing chaos or disasters.
