Tower Tree Stories
The Greensburg High School graduating class in 1927 is about ready for the final ceremony with yearbook distribution followed by special awards from student body and anti-establishment "Deep Root" students who seek freedom beyond school norms. The game uses public domain works, mainly a sample of the yearbook created at Green'sburgh High School (Greensburg) and allows players to explore connections between graduating highschool seniors in this small Indiana town as they create their own stories with dice rolls for narrative scenes that add depth to character arcs beyond grades or activities. The game can be played solo, but it is recommended each player has a copy of the yearbook beforehand due knowledge sharing before play begins and more emphasis placed on connections between characters than specific high school careers in this historical record-focused design with unique Deep Root awards system rewarding well connected players for forming relationships beyond simple activities.
