In Not Your Witch, the player is given an opportunity to escape from city life by moving into their own small cottage on rural land with cheap rent in exchange for working remotely as they want it done. The protagonist has moved there because of a low-cost option available and doesn't intend "to be anyone's" but rather focus solely on running down the rundown property, living quietly without any disturbances or conflicts to save some money from their exorbitant city life expenses. However, when you realize that an entity is also looking for someone as a Witch in this lonely cottage setting with your help making choices throughout playing out the adventure will lead characters through various plot points while dealing with obstacles and eventually encountering witches like themselves who are trying to find shelter away from society's interference into their lives just like yours.
