This is the story of an adventurer who goes on a journey with his magical horse to retrieve enchanted artifacts and save their village from destruction by dark forces, aided along the way through supernatural creatures called "fae." The adventure has four main parts- traveling across treacherous mountains covered in ice, battling ferocious monsters that are trying to stop them while they try to find an old map needed for a quest; going on quests with other characters and making choices about what actions you take or not; meeting powerful fae who offer guidance before heading off into the unknown wilderness again. The book ends by providing more details of these adventures, including magical weapons that are required along the way as well as magic-enhancing items such as potions for food and drink to be consumed on a long journey where no one is sure when or if they will have access to water (which could become dangerous since the party has been traveling so much).
