The game here presents a medieval fantasy setting populated by giant insects and humans living in the forests of this world where insect-sized creatures are domesticated, Chrisabellle Mac Andrews has created adventure stories featuring these animals as protagonists. Absinthte et Mandibule is an engaging roleplaying with 4 to 5 players (4 player consulmed) for a single or two groups and it comprises actual pages of the game book in chronological order following characters' journeys from their childhoods through various adventures, settings, research processes, creative aspects such as illustration, map making, character design...etc. The price point is not mentioned but this reviewer has received payment to create illustrations that will be reimbursed after expenses have been paid for other purposes and enriching the game with more resources before any cost was incurred in creating it (paid by me).
