Tensions have been growing in the village of Basabag, a quaint settlement at the mouth of an eerie, uncharted swamp forest locals call the Bogwood. One month ago, a group of clerics ventured into the Bogwood intending to proselytize the endemic frogfolk. The clerics were supposed to be gone only a week, and now the villagers fear the worst. This module is based off of my first-ever idea for a TTRPG adventure, previously unfinished and now adapted for Yochai Gal's June 2023 Cairn Jam: "A Town, A Forest, A Dungeon." It is designed for use with Cairn but is designed to be as system-agnostic as possible and should be easily useable with most systems.
