WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?HOSER is a two player narrative-heavy tabletop role playing game about amateur hockey. One player is THE GOON, a thug whose only talent is fighting. The other player acts as THE REFEREE, and helps move the story forward by assuming the role of everyone else in the goon’s life.  WHAT DO I NEED TO PLAY?You’ll need some dice (2D6 and a D20), a copy of the character scorecard, something to write with, and an imagination for role playing.  HELP! I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HOCKEY.It’s cool, neither do I, and I designed this game! HOSER is heavily influenced by my favorite hockey films–Slapshot, Goon, and The Mighty Ducks. If you’re looking for inspiration for telling a story these are a great place to start.
