Dark Star IV is a Science Fiction Horror game where players are Scavers aboard the last remnants of civilization in a ruined galaxy called 'Salem'. Players must scavenge, create characters, navigate through dark space and pay back their captain for sponsored scavangers if they want to stick around. The book includes rules on playing the game, setting information & lore about various alien races that could potentially pose threats or provide resources needed by players in finding rare items like fuel cells from crashed UFO's.
