This is a short adventure for the CAIRN TTRPG. You should be able to comfortably finish it within one session. To run it, all you need is a generic village to place the key NPCs in and a nearby stretch of road that your characters are currently travelling down. The adventure rewards creative thinking and tries to engage players with a mix roleplay, combat and problem solving. This adventure is inspired by modules like those published by Harley Stroh for Dungeon Crawl Classics or those written by Gavin Norman for Old School Essentials.
