The freeform nature of the game means that it can be easily tailored to whatever genre or setting you want, but in the future I plan to update the game with optional rules modules to make this process easier. This can be exciting, but also upsetting. Gone are the days of "I attack with my sword" -stab your enemy in the throat! With VIsceral, players have unprecedented freedom to approach a situation, and the unique Challenge Dice system allows the GM to prescribe proportional mechanical weight to whatever course of action the player describes.
