Imp of Perversity is a new psychological horror and monster hunting game set during the 1830s -
1840's era when monsters were real. The protagonist characters are influenced by an inner desire or
impulse, with one player taking on the role as Editor responsible for creating fearsome creatures
that haunt others in their turn-based combat system where each chapter lasts about 2 to 3 hours from
beginning to end before players can take a break and come back later without needing any more
sessions. The game is set during this time period when Edgar Allan Poe was at his prime, the 1830s -
1840's era of American history coinciding with their writing career in an interesting dynamic that
reflects how inspiration for each creation system leads to characters from different backgrounds
connected by a common purpose or goal to create unique monsters and bring them down.
