Grand Guillotine's "No Dice No Masters" engine allows players to create their own stories with its modular system that can be played solo or as a group for 3-5 people in between three hours sessions; it includes topics of poverty, oppression, unjust institutions, violence, queer sexuality and manipulation. CONTENT WARNINGS: This game contains themes such as body horror, drug use/abuse, blasphemy, toxic families, homelessness, social injustice (related to the author's personal experiences), oppressive systems that are built on their weaknesses or vulnerabilities of others; it also features a range of characters with complex backgrounds and histories. SETTING: The game takes place in an urban setting where players navigate through narrow alleyways surrounded by foggy canals, explore dark alleys filled with twists and turns while encountering dangerous people lurking around corners (who may turn out to be the player's companions).
