A Light Storygame of Daytime Soap Opera

This is a soap opera-inspired storygame which is Powered by the Apocalypse, meaning it uses many of the rules first featured in Apocalypse World by Vincent & Meguey Baker. Card Backstories & Card Relationships: two set of cards for creating all the complicated baggage a soap opera character comes pre-loaded with. When I say this is soap opera-inspired, I’m mostly thinking of the cheesy daytime soaps that roll off the conveyor belts of TV production to fill gaps in the schedule and attract sponsors, so the bar is set quite low.
