Death of NumiSmuS is about the slow death and sudden demise of a god named Numismusm (or numismus)
who was once worshipped as God of Gold or Coin but has since fallen out of favor due to jealousy
from his rivals, gods such as Jealousy. The game features coins that are sentient beings acting in
place of eyes on the world for mortals and advisors; they can perform miracles like bless those
favored by NumiSmus while cursing others without mercy (and even some powerful ones). As we progress
through Age after Age, Adventurers will seek to steal Face Tissues from temples where Numismuss is
worshipped. The game has a solo journal-style writing aspect with the player keeping track of their
god's history in chronological order and adding entries as they happen throughout gameplay. Players
must work together if anyone wants them dead or removed before it happens, for example by performing
powerful miracles that are too difficult to resist alone but would be much easier when done
simultaneously while others keep watchful eyes on your target (such as a rival god). Numismuss' fate
is decided in part through rolling dice and drawing from the tarot deck of minor arcana cards or an
RNG for random entries.
