In Heartbeats in Perfect Sync (RPG inspired by the shounen battle aesthetic with over-the-top weapons) players play as ordinary people who fight monsters using a mysterious app that activates an incredible weapon. Players use their emotional tension and adjust heart rate to perform powerful attacks while maintaining safety on themselves, but too high or low Heart Rates can result in dangerous situations for them leading up to the transformation cutscene where they become dark versions of themselves with new abilities.
