The game is about urban fantasy set against an apocalyptic world where powerful supernaturals protect cities from the apocalypse caused by fallen angels. Players create characters as members of this society, each with their own abilities to control protective seals around a city and serve under leadership in holding areas called "holdings" which can be either luxurious mansions or clubs for blue-bloods like themselves. The game is set up so that players may play multiple mini episodes without the need for additional ruleset material beyond an introduction guide, as well as access to six threads covering specific storylines with their own hooks and NPCs within a main rulebook chronicle of events happening in different provinces before them (with over 50 locations included).
