"Rivals" is a competitive story-telling game where players take on the roles of two best friends from an isolated village in Japan who both want to become legends, competing against each other through quests and competitions until one emerges victorious. The game includes 12 full color pages with illustrations by Mike Schleytung, as well as tokens for customization purposes that can be printed out using a laser printer or copier machine. Players are encouraged to join the official Discord server where they may receive support from fellow players in exchange of assistance and questions related to "Rivals".
