In this setting for Cyberpunk 2077 or Fallout 4 (depending on which version), Mars is ravaged by war between corporations that seek to control its resources but have destroyed it in their pursuit of profits and power. The city known as Blister City, once Ambionnalia, was the first habitable settlement built after terraforming began 60 years ago; however, this process had unforeseen consequences which lead to a fatal toxic atmosphere poisoning millions on Mars who managed to survive before reaching the bubble cities such as Ambisonni (the main city in our setting) and other smaller settlements. Blister City is now overrun with massive inequality between different factions within itself where even those living higher up face hardships while climbing towards economic stability, creating a culture of mass poverty for which people at any level are struggling to survive or work together just enough so they can keep what little food left over from before the war and still eat. - Blister City is an alternate setting that takes place on Mars after terraforming began 60 years ago but ended in disaster due to unforeseen consequences such as a toxic atmosphere poisoning millions of people, making it impossible for anyone who was not already wealthy or powerful enough (or both) survive the city's collapse.
