The Case File is a murder/mystery roleplaying game for 2 to 6 players with an investigator using nine different backgrounds and solving mysteries while taking risks on Specialty points that lead them towards the truth of what has happened in your city's case files, where it can be found at any time. It provides guidance by offering tips like problem-solving skills when things go wrong during a mystery to find out who is responsible for an event or how something occurred and combat options along with more background creation capabilities using different methods such as homebrewing Case Files which expands the game's possibilities.
