The player characters are ordinary folk living in an ignorant, savage and superstitious medieval
period (476 AD - 1000 AD) where historical accuracy is not paramount to represent history with
interpretation. Players take on various roles depending upon their temperament types determined by
the imbalance of bodily fluids called humoris which determine a character's mood or behavior using
difficulty levels experienced as consequences for failure; improve over time, use easy item access
from inventory slots and make important saves when necessary using temperaments such as support
(when in trouble), expertise/experience gained through difficult actions taken to remove hindering
events.
