Fairly Simple d6 Dungeon Game
A 5e Dungeons & Dragons style tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) set in a waiting room for hours or even days with characters and gear tracked on character sheets, resource management required to fight monsters using swords or magic spells as resources. Characters can also improve survival skills but there is no focus placed solely upon success factors like dice rolls. The GM asks the player's choice of 5 items that they will use in their adventures (including swords), provides monster descriptions with story hooks and guidance on running them, character improvement geared towards surviving rather than achieving a high score or victory conditions through combat/magic spells included as resources to track from characters' sheets. Resources are managed throughout gameplay by rolling dice under the control of an optional resource management mechanic that allows for either success in killing monsters (d6 resolution) and use magic items within certain lists, or survival techniques like avoiding creatures while waiting on a long wait list at their destination with character sheets tracking gear choices as resources along with combat skills.
