An Altogether Different River game is a 2-player card drafting game where players build their own river by combining cards with different properties. The goal of the player who creates an "Aria" or "Butterfly", which are special elements in this world, to complete its quest for power and become king/queen over all other rivers. Meanwhile, a hurricane is also included as it affects everyone's journey from one end point (Cape Town) to another (Turtle City). The game has been designed with the theme of "a land where only Arias can thrive" in mind; thus players must work together and compete for their ultimate goal - making an Altogether Different River, a special card that gives them additional resources when they play.
