The Sage's Salary is an engaging solo role-playing (RPG) game where players take the roles of students under sages, and as a result become apprentices for their training in various fields such as music or war tactics while also playing out different scenarios based on past events. The player starts off with no money but must follow along to fulfill contracts that can only be fulfilled by him/her after becoming his/her master's apprentice at the end of each scenario sequence, hence completing a cycle where every playthrough represents one character who lives through another life in their current timeline and experiences different scenarios leading up to this.
