Earth-Stepper is an RPG that can be played entirely by index card (or one side) in a quick combat system inspired from Yoghi Gal's Caicn and Jason Tocci Exhumed, as well the 3 stat variant used to create characters. Magic appears at GM discretion but does not have requirement for equipment or magic items either. The game is suitable for both new players looking to try out RPGs with minimal effort on their part (as character creation can take just a few seconds), and experienced gamers seeking an easy-to learn RPG system that still delivers the excitement of real combat in dungeons, caves and other wilderness areas across different terrains including deserts or jungle. The game is open source under GPL license allowing for it to be used by anyone who wants more official content like adventure modules, settings, rules expansions etc without requiring any legal actions on their part which makes this system a great choice for gamers looking out into the future of indie RPGs as well!
