The Bottled Sea is a fantasy realm where ships from different eras are trapped in an alternate dimension through wormholes, and sailors must navigate its dangers while trying to leave it behind them at the same time as being pulled into this flooded world filled with ancient relics of sunken vessels. Players can roll randomly for hex tiles representing their characters' starting points within four factions vying control over a suspended city called Harborage in an endless sea environment that is littered with wreckage and debris from previous civilizations, including one where ships are water-based crafts made out of bottles floating along the currents as they explore this underwater world.The toolkit offers PDFs for GM screens filled with hex descriptions (which can be customized), optional rules to enhance gameplay or create an individual adventure map based on random rolls and exploration; various digital posters, a booklet containing detailed information about Watercrafts in general that players must refer to as they venture further into the sea world through this modular set of tools. Players may also find PNG files for each hex tile placed randomly within their maps while using these water-based craft modules with its vtt functionality allowing them an easy and intuitive way to navigate gameplay by rolling random rolls from a bag filled with different digital items specific for that edition, all packaged together in the tool
