You've needed to find gainful employment to continue existing. Your interviews have gone well and you've been working hard this entire month to get your hard-earned compensation. Just have to get through this last shift and then it's back to the comfort of ruling in the darkness. You've kept a diary of what has transpired everyday during what the humans call 'Work'.
