Bizarre Jolting Journey is a fantasy miniatures game where players take on the role of USERs, individuals with BEATS that grant them supernatural abilities inspired by music in their physical manifestation as an insect-like creature called Mothlings (named after moths). The gameplay involves solving problems and completing milestones to achieve personal goals. As one's journey progresses through multiple scenarios or short campaigns, they will encounter various USERs working together towards the greater goal of stopping a criminal mastermind who has infiltrated society with their BEATS as weapons. To enhance performance in this game, DJs should provide players with information about ruleset components and make-up for customization within the Player pamphlet while limiting access to it on multiple occasions throughout gameplay.
