Newtonium Engine is an alternate reality game set in Ethersope, where players take on roles as wizards and fight against clockwork machines that use magic to manipulate time and create magical artifacts from the elemental powers of Aetherium (ether). The combat system involves dice rolls for different tactical options. Character creation uses a priority-based system similar to Shadowrun's Priority System with more variety in player options, such as building up Elemental Powers or creating custom abilities using Elementals that grant special effects when activated during gameplay 6 / 6
