This is a game people of all gender identities can play, not just girls, but it is absolutely a celebration of girlhood and of my femme friendships, with a side order of introspection on what being a teen girl meant for me. I wanted to capture the vibe of getting pretty with your best bitches and talking shit, and let slivers of the darker side peek through, like body dysmorphia, bullying, and social anxiety.
