Very few humans become ghosts. Humans, full of sloshing sounds and mucus-filled organs, lack the internal solitude to become a ghost. Ghosts are made when quiet places die. A quiet place might be a mouse, or a fragile bird, or a corner of a room, or a magic spell, or a vast, silent mountain. Quiet places die all the time without us even knowing, and their ghosts clutter up the world.
This game is a short meditation on queer fatalism and forms of queer existence that aren't included under the boisterous celebration of Pride. It was written for #PrideJam2019.
It is a Lasers and Feelings hack that's 2 pages long. If you can't afford this game, please contact me at @jdragsky on Twitter.
