Meridian is a storytelling game that takes you on journeys through magical worlds, where your choices shape how things unfold. You create characters with unique skillsets to help guide you along these paths as they navigate different realms and obstacles in the storybook of adventure games. The deck contains 3 sets each (Defiance/Obsession cards for guidance), Touch cards used during gameplay to enhance experience points earned by playing, Guide card decks that determine what's coming up next when players reach certain milestones or progress through areas on their journeys, Companion card decks containing helpful creatures and items with unique abilities added in the latest update. The game features a wide range of locales within three groups: Capricious Festivals for special events to celebrate meriadian celebrations; Bumpy Rides that help traverse obstacles without any loss points (Bump cards); Dark Reflections where you can find hidden treasures or face your fears, and Dread & Doubt card sets with additional elements like quests. The game offers a number of different roles as players journey through Meridian's various worlds: Journeyeers guide the main character on their adventures; Guide adds unique abilities to each role that enhances gameplay throughout all three decks (Defiance/Obsession/Capricious Festivals).
