IN THE FACE OF DESPAIR is a collaborative storytelling adventure about an ancient forest, plagued by magical corruption. It follows four faeglor guardians struggling to save their home and protect themselves from vampire lords seeking power over them all while they are in the process of losing more territory that was once theirs thanks to magic decay. The game's narrative focuses on tragic events as well as horror elements such during gameplay where players must work together to survive against overwhelming odds, fight for each other, and preserve their dwindling powers by hiding from predators within a magical world full of traps set up by the corrupt lords in order to keep them out at all costs while trying to avoid being captured or killed.IN THE FACE OF DESPAIR is an adventure game about magic decay that takes place on land once ruled over by faeglor guardians, now under control of vampire lords who seek power and territory above everything else: their people are in the process of losing more area than ever before as they try to save what little remains.
