3 BONES (or BTBS) is an easy tabletop game for 1-4 players that requires only three six-sided dice and a character sheet with blank business cards to generate characters quickly, making it perfect as one-shot adventure on short notice or when running low prep games. The system includes several examples of different ways using the basic rules such as magic items, monsters and more. If you want long term campaigns then "Exploits" experience/character development is a good option that turn your XP into an adventuring record like highlight reel so players can directly draw on their experiences to help them in future endeavors even if they get killed; or pick the bones clean for tasty bits of BTBS such as Exploit scenes, Burden's and recovery scene. The game offers several examples using a list of generic medieval fantasy equipment along with example adversaries that makes up an improvisational adventure session (as featured on Luka Rejec from WTF Studio).
