* Four Against Darkness is not a miniature game but rather an adventure dungeon-delving boardgame where players can create their own dungeons with random tables. They equip four character types from classic classes and embark on adventures in the depths of Dungeons, battling monsters to collect treasure while managing resources like life points and equipment along the way. As characters level up they become better at certain skills but it won't be easy achieving success as there are many challenges such as traps or quests that require more than just raw combat abilities alone. * The game is not a role-playing one, players create their own dungeons in which monsters appear and must defeat them before moving onto the next area to progress through levels of dungeon crawling adventure sets created randomly by dice rolls on grids paper with tables for each room where content can be generated as random encounters or traps. * Players start off level 1 characters equipped from a classic set, leveling up their skills over time but they will need more than just raw combat abilities alone to succeed and defeat monsters that are challenging in the game's dungeons filled with puzzles, doors and other obstacles requiring creative thinking before moving on through new dungeon areas each session. * The PDF covers 90 pages of black-and-white illustrations as well a color cover
