LaNcer is an RPG game that follows the adventures of mech pilots in space who are fighting against Union for control over their galaxy's resources after humanity faces extinction due to ecological collapse on Earth caused by unrestrained consumption and poor stewardship (the end of Anthropocene). The setting features a mix of military science fiction, mythic sci-fi fantasy elements with conscripted pilots mixing ranks. Players customize mechs in addition to playing different roles as they fight for Union or against them while working together within the system's rules that allow any kind of story and group size (3-5 players). The game is best played solo but can be adapted into a one-shot session with three to five participants.
