So mörk borg, which translates to "dark mountain fortress", was an ancient Swedish castle built in the 12th century that fell into ruins by the 14th or 15th centuries due to various wars waged against it throughout history (the most recent being a siege conducted during 1866). The area around Lake Månegärden is now home to many of these decaying and haunting remnants, such as old fortresses walls from times past.
