When players are playing an event during their session, they can invoke flashbacks to set up events that impacted them or affected others from previous sessions. The flashback provides a unique opportunity for prep and planning directly linked with what's happening on stage without revisiting past plans in detail (unless there was risk involved). This helps maintain the narrative reality of established situations while highlighting potential preparation measures taken during earlier scenarios/events as preparations leading up to present events are showcased through flashbacks, adding depth and complexity.
